This week Sony have announced two new smartphones to their range - The Sony Xperia Miro and Sony Xperia Tipo. Both handsets will launch with the latest version of Android, 4.0 Icecream Sandwich.
The Sony Xperia Miro provides deep Facebook integration and Sony’s xLOUD audio technology in a slim and stylish design. This device will come in a choice of fun and vibrant colours. The 5 megapixel camera, a 2nd front-facing camera and a 3.5" display makes this an interesting proposition. The Miro will be available in black, black/pink, white and white/gold colours. Meanwhile, the Sony Xperia Tipo comes in both single and dual SIM version for consumers looking for value and functionality. The Dual Sim version will allow customers to switch between two priceplans or even contract and Pay As You Go whilst ultimately it could benefit the overseas traveller or someone who makes many international calls on a separate SIM. The handset has a scratch resistant 3.2" display, a slightly less spec'd 3.2 megapixel camera and will be available in red, white, blue and black.
