Apple users have been duped into believing their products, including the latest iPhone, are waterproof once they have updated the new iOS7 Software.
The fake advert claimed that a "smart switch" cuts off the power supply to the phone when water is detected which "prevents damage to your iPhone's delicate circuitry". This has fooled many people into doing things with their mobile device which they would never have dreamed of.
