Finland recently made up for their lack of medals at the London Olympics by holding their own sporting event. The eatern town of Savonlinna hosted this years Mobile Phone throwing contest.
The tournament, which as the title suggests, involved throwing a mobile phone the furthest distance whilst many chose traditional Finnish costume or fancy dress to participate. The winner, from Finland, threw his Nokia Mobile Phone over 101 metres beating competitors from across the globe including England.
