The 2014 Sony World photographer of the year shortlist has just been released. This was announced by the World Photography Organisation. Almost 140,000 entries where entered from 160 countries, making this years the most entered from the competitions history. There are many different categories being involved the Winners from the Open categories will be announced on the 18th
March 2014, then the Professional winners on the 30th
You will be able to see all the shortlisted photos at Somerset house, London from the 1st
May to the 18th May as part of the Sony Photography exhibition. Tickets are available via the World Photography Organisation.
The Open Category has eleven different sub groups. Architecture, Arts and Culture, Enhanced, Low Light, Nature and Wildlife, Panoramic, People, Smile, Split Second, Travel and Commended. Have a look at these entries via this LINK
